You really need to watch it out there. The last day of the KD I was almost hit by a large boat out deep. Saw it coming a long ways out, it just kept comeing right at me. I had to turn to avoid getting hit he ran right over our lines, missed the boards by 20' or so. Couldnt see a name on the boat. There was a rubber raft on the siwm platform. It was likely on autopilot with no one watching.

It seems to get worse every year. Had a Guy set up right next to us a few days a go. Not another boat within a 1/2 mile. This was a green/white crestliner with Minnesota stickers.

I sorry for your loss, but leaving anything of value out in the open is asking for trouble. It's getting bad around here, Houses are getting broke into with the owners home. Never heard of this a few years ago. I keep my rig locked up in a shed, IF I stop for gas or what not someone stays with the boat at all times. Now adays you have to make sure your not an ez target. Its sad, but its the world we live in.

I had a 20 ' cuddy spent the night on it once. If I was going to sleep on it often I wouldn't go any smaller than 24'.

I am not telling you not to get a big boat, but you may find that hotel bills are cheap compared to sliping and running a large boat. And if you plan on towing it you'll likly need a 1 ton truck.

7' ugly sticks work fine. 47 sealines on my boat, may not be the "best" but get the job done.

Yes he does. He is a charter up in SB and a very good fisherman. Number were up this year, if I remember right there were 15 or more boats that blanked last year. This is why some of us do not enter. Pros / charter boats should not be aloud to enter. I do get in the KD, if they never had it again I wouldnt miss it.

It's silly to have a bass tournament in Green Bay, some where in Door county would be a lot better. Not sure why anyone would want to run 40 + miles with the type of boats the use. What would happen if storm came up ??

Degrave sandblasting may be able to do it. He is just east of Green Bay on QQ. Or maybe Scotts on 29.
