I was out the eve on 7/4. Went 1 for 1. Fished south 100 - 180. Was surprised at how few boats were out. Our lone fish came from a 125 feet of water, 90 down green dodger fly at dusk. 3 or 4 boats came at the same time we did, no one was cleaning fish.

Dawn dish soap has worked well for me too. Greybeard isnt the only one that has spilled 2 stroke oil. LOL

I've generally noticed the fisherman that don't shut up are the wrong guys to listen to X2 This is even more true of co-workers.

Not sure what you mean by fixed. Kewaunee has 6 lanes, only one or 2 can handle mid to large boats. I have a lund barron on a bunk trailer, I can only use the ramp closest to the bridge. Been this way for years. IF the water is as low as some say I may not be able to get my boat off the trailer this year.

A number of nice ramps have been built on the bay side in the last few years. Why cant they build a nice ramp on the lake side ? The stone qurry ramp is awsome. The kewaunee ramp hasnt seen any updates in 20 years.

The Two Creeks ramp is open, saw a small boat fishing of the Point Beach nuke plant on my walk to my truck after work.

I was having a hard time loading my boat at kewaunee in sept. If the water level dosnt come up or they fix up the ramps, a lot of us wont be fishing next summer.

First I heard of a open house. The local news did a piece on how low the water was at SB and said the DNR may have to get all the eggs from Kewaunee this year.

Is the time of year. The weather hasnt been the best, some are hunting, others are watching football. I will be putting my boat away for winter in a week or two myself , as my crew says they are done fishing for the year.
