Is the time of year. The weather hasnt been the best, some are hunting, others are watching football. I will be putting my boat away for winter in a week or two myself , as my crew says they are done fishing for the year.

I used my riggers and lead core on Lake of the woods this weekend. Number 5 purpledescent worked really well.

Where do you fish googan? I rarely get a chance to post on here especially during the busy times of the season, just not enough time, but will give you a Kewaunee report anytime just get ahold of me thru a PM or something. Kewaunee's been a little slower the past few days Fished Friday 630-1130 am had gilligan and saugeye on board (thanks for coming guys!) got 12 of 13, fish scattered around a bit as our two hottest rigs were the 65 ft rigger and the 165 ft rigger. A couple on dipsys, one monster rainbow on the 10 color lead core as gilligan was taking the board off to change the lure the fish took it the powerpro damn near ripped gilligans finger in half - f/f combos and standard size spoons anything green Saturday gilligan joined in again, but saugeye was on his own boat... we fished 630 to noon, 170 fow, got 6 of 7 let one laker go wrapped around the wire, the three downriggers were the only things that got hit, burnt out clutch in my downrigger, lost a salty ball but saved the brand new probe, pretty frustrating day but had a good time anyways Windy, cold, and Friday was rainy too, but still had a lot of fun thanks guys for joining me - catching fish on the 160 ft rigger in 100 fow was a good laugh (among other laughs) thanks dean and tony ;D ;D

The things you do or say when the algoma coma is in full effect lol. Anyways the fishing with Tony, Steve, Cherryl, and hammered boy was fun. The hammered guy said " quit picking on me". I told him " You are lucky salty isnt here.... You would be sitting in a corner of the boat in the fetal position ;D". Went out saturday morning with GZ in my boat. Tough fishing! We fished 170' to 250' and caught 4 scattered kings. I lost a salty ball, and that evening broke off the plastic end on my mag 5. The boat is getting winterized and stored. I am done for the year. Time to get the beretta dusted off and start chasing ducks and geese in a couple weeks
