A number of nice ramps have been built on the bay side in the last few years. Why cant they build a nice ramp on the lake side ? The stone qurry ramp is awsome. The kewaunee ramp hasnt seen any updates in 20 years.

They just "fixed" the upriver ramp at Kewaunee a year or two ago. But do agree they could make it longer to get to deeper water!
I think everyone should go to PORT ;D ;D ;D

Not sure what you mean by fixed. Kewaunee has 6 lanes, only one or 2 can handle mid to large boats. I have a lund barron on a bunk trailer, I can only use the ramp closest to the bridge. Been this way for years. IF the water is as low as some say I may not be able to get my boat off the trailer this year.

For years the upstream ramp had a log in front of it ..the ramp was unusable .. they just recently (last year or two) fixed the approach and made the third ramp usable .. this is what I meant ...clear as mud?

And it was mud by the 3rd ramp. My trailer wheels looked just like what lakers poop out.

I am under the impression that the area between the gap and the marina still needs to be dredged. Last fall the trouble spot was outside of the marina. Ramps are still blocked by docks and other stuff in the parking lot. The spoil pile got a lot smaller this week, barge and dredge is still in marina

Well at least that darn maple tree isn't in the way--now we have a big hoe. Attachments:

The hoe is gone but he left the tree. You would think he would have made a little swing of the bucket with it and knocked it over.
