Need to clean the bilge in my boat. Anyone have any good ideas on what to use that works well? Home remedies? Thanks it's pretty greasy.

Mine is pretty much spotless after yesterday .. won't recommend that way tho ..
Try dawn dish soap?

Dish soap and a few gallons of warm soapy water. Go fishing and then empty it out. There is a product called bilge cleaner otherwise

I agree with Championship. Depending on the surface area I would go with hot water as warm may cool quickly.
I spilled some of my 2 stroke oil in the bilge. I used 1/2 bottle of Dawn. I figured if that brand is used to take sludge off waterfowl after oil spills then should be good in the bilge. Worked well despite not thinking ahead to use hot water.

Dawn dish soap has worked well for me too. Greybeard isnt the only one that has spilled 2 stroke oil. LOL
