May have to make the run up north to Baileys for a trip or two that sounds fun.

Well said guys. Its nice to take a step back and think just how fortunate we are to have this fishery and all that goes with it.

It's going to be a great year! I predict full coolers of cold beer good friends to share it with. Maybe even some screaming drags from some slob salmon. Either way I'm ready for it as soon as July gets here!

This one guy I know talked about buying a harpoon and just sticking the fish when they get close! I think he watches to much wicked tuna, but hey it might be interesting. Still need light though. Lol You can't tell me that don't sound fun Somebody has been painting downrigger balls in a enclosed space again. Better order some green under water lights, then we'll just gaff em!

I know a bright white light usually freaks the fish out at boatside but what about the green or blue lights? Anyone with first hand experience? Its hard to net what you can't see!

Spoons, especially watermelon. Id share others but can't remember what they were, probably because they all got snapped off on wire dipseys! And I have to agree the best thing in the boat was Old Milwaukee it never failed to put fish in the boat.

Nice video Nick, how big is your pro V? Looks like a great rig! it's a 1900 = 19.75' For great lakes fishing I did disconnect and plugged up the rear live-well to keep weight down in the rear of the boat. What year is your boat? I'm looking at making my first big boat purchase and the used pro V has me interested. I like the rear casting deck for musky as well seem like a good dual purpose boat. Any other advice or experiences with the boat would be much appreciated.

Cody - Do you have a “NFN special edition daisy mat” to clean your fish on? I do have a extra one if you need it? they work very well Not Yet! ... was kinda a pain without a mat, I added it to my fleet farm list, unless you have a extra Nick. I'll be at the GB meeting this thursday You talk like you cleaned all those fish! A mat would be a great addition though.
