Bumpy stiff winds and rollers to start @ Kewaunee .. settled down mid game tho. I have never done well bashing into waves so we rode out to a "favorite" spot .. 450 fow riggers and 300 copper/250 copper/300lc did most of the work. 2 hits that tore the meat off was all on both dipseys (why do I bother?) Black mamba, super puke and chrome /green. Went 10 for 13 with a LK tossed back and added to Tony's tally. 8 kings and two smaller bows Nice talking to Cody on the water, Tonys fish call and a call from Naze ..

Thanks Saugeye ..
Forgot to mention .. Fish Cleaning Station is CLOSED for the season @ the public ramp and closing today @ the City Marina. Docks are still in tho .. for now.
And the guy who filled my door handle with silver grease ... not funny, but then again Bill did go get the van and got the brunt of it.
There was also "A Duck" still floating in the harbor.

Had lines set at about 10am in 225 ... smacked 2 right away and kept getting pushed east out to 385 before turning back in and pounding into it back to 330 where it suddenly went flat. spent rest of the afternoon bouncing between 270-315 going 16 for 22? with the cooler being half lakers and half kings, biggest king of the day make a leaping escape about 20 feet behind the boat but biggest king in the cooler was 11# and biggest laker was maybe 10 ish ran lots of stuff. Found core to be completely dead but copper in all lengths to bites 300, 200, 150, and 100 with a snap weight added in. both riggers took a fish including Gilligans rigger. Wire dipseys were the ticket especially for the kings, taking well over half of the action being set at 1.5 105 feet of line out with watermelon spoon. Even caught fish on a black mamba Had a wonderful day on the water and enjoyed talking with SteveO and fish calls from Gilligan and Scrapper

landing was busier then a July evening when we came in I always find it funny how everyone comes out of the woodwork to go fishing when the fishing catching is easy we pulled a NFN and landed and boogyed having a nice cooler of fillets all stashed away Best way to go… heck I think the guys in the marina actually believe that I didn’t catch a single fish this year… just send my guests home with fillets stuffed in a cooler and away we go.… nice not getting stopped and probed for info every time I walk down the dock or at the cleaning station anymore… Now Gilligan gets all that attention instead Cody - Do you have a “NFN special edition daisy mat” to clean your fish on? Good fishin there SteveO looks a little bumpy out there – was flat calm in Milwaukee … boy there were a lot of fish in the harbor…

The wind looks pretty strong out of the SW according to Fish Weather for Friday this could kill my plan
