Last night they were still in shallow, but after these storms who knows? We were 8 for 14 and lost a couple of good ones to rookie errors. We fished closer to shore than the pack and caught most of our fish in 60'-80' on spoons. The last few nights I've barely had any hits on flies. Good luck.

I've got a pair of Mag 10's on my boat and they've been great. I've also had Uni-trolls in the past and liked them. If your budget allows it I'd go with the electrics in whatever brand you choose.

Like I said Saturday night, she must look like her mother.

Saturday evening we found the fish on the bottom too. My best presentation was a green/orange PK spoon on a rigger set at 55' in 63' of water. The only rainbow I caught Saturday even came on that rigger.

I bought the Rapala cordless knife and have been using it for 3 seasons now. I've worn out 1 set of blades, but other than that it's been flawless. I wish it had a little more power, but if I'd slow down and let the knife do the work it would be fine. I'm just impatient I guess.

WD-40 doesn't have fishoil but does Fishoil have WD-40? I've never tried it but might have to now. I've used scented baits for walleyes so I'd think that they could work for salmon too.

Oh yeah, forgot about that little incident. We'll blame that one on Kayla. After looking at the prop closer I'm pretty sure that the string from the plate got into it. It still works good and I think all those bends kinda add character, something a few of the previous posters might be lacking.

Floorboy, Gilligan, Scrapper, and Salty on MY boat?? I don't think my insurance company would like me very much after that trip. I took ChampionShip out last week and was real happy to get away with only losing one dipsy, snubber, flasher, and fly. At least I got home with the boat in one piece. Well, mostly in one piece. There was that little incident with the prop and the rope on my trolling plate. ;D

What would happen if Floorboy stepped into Gilligan's Triangle?

ROTFLMAO!!! ;D ;D
Those Port vandals need to get some of the window paint that the Algoma ones use. Much brighter and a real PITA to get off(that's the voice of experience talking).

Thanks for the report and good job on the fishing. You made a smart move getting off the water because of the stern light. I witnessed a very nasty boat collision last fall that was caused by someone who stayed out without a stern light. No fish is worth your life or anyone elses.
