6 for 6 wed am and 4 for 6 thurs am..only 2 guys so 6 lines--- nice after 5 for 15 last weekend ..thanx to whoever recommended a moonshine hotlips..it produced 6 out of the 10 fish...all off a swr 3 colors and a regular downrigger..most in 100-110...down 60-80....had the biggest -most powerful fish ever...had to start tighening the drag to keep from running out of line....I got him stopped then he got off---Also on hotlips!!! wow-----on the down side I lost an engine---I suspect waterpump impeller JP (nice to have twins)(also nice that those Hondas turn themselves off when hot)

only 5 fish this weekend, but one was a 20 # king---all on f/f.....What channel do you guys out of Algoma moniter ? The highlight of the trip was "making rope with 4 leadcores...Jerry was happy to see us afterwards ....I blamed it on rough seas JP

Thurs Fri & sat-----Evenings are not our best time..Thurs-1 laker...fri 2 salmon (10# each)....Fri morning..WOW!!! Boated 7..lost 2...had 5 on at once..like keystone cops...lost the 2 on downriggers..couldn't get there to loosen the drags...1-16#..2-14# etc etc..All salmon, but one bow..all on f/f except bow --Sat morn--out late due to fog, but boated two nice salmon...Installed new railing around back of lameduck....nice and safe now...JP

Thanx for the good news....now i'm more excited about coming to Algoma thurs, fri,& sat..The Work bee will be to put a railing around the back of the boat...the lameduck has sides that are a little low...sandwiches will be served to the helpers...don't just come for the sandwiches jp

3 HOURS mON AFTERNOON 0/0-----Tue am...2/3...12# & 10# kings... Tue afternoon 1/2---Wed am 5/7.....all on flasher/fly, all on 10color or downrigger....Losses--1 shaker got off and 2 honkers due to eguipment failure..one knot & one broken line....biggest---141/2#....Lake flat every outing.....boat passed inspection----only negative..tickly flys...most fish between195 and 260....no bows though we tried with surface spoons and thin fish...going again soon!!!! good supper at stebbinsand good breakfast at dairy deans (disclaimer).......JP
