We spent 3 mornings fishing this weekend. Saturday 3 for 4 in 4 hours. 2 salmon and a laker, largest salmon was about 14#. Sunday am we set up in 70 and spent about 2 hours working out to about 120 with no bites. Turned East, put on the bow spoons and after 225 fow the bites came steady out to 425 fow. I think we had close to 30 bites, lots got away. Kept our 10 fish for the 2 of us and tossed a couple back. Went back to the same area this am, it took a little longer to get them, but ended with 10 again. Clean birds with silver/ orange insert, 3/8oz bird with a #23 Pro-King (orange/orange) and 3 color leadcore with yellow/orange/black dots were tops for us. Beautiful weekend to be on the water. No major temp breaks out to 500 this am.

Went out of Algoma Sunday Evening with a couple of buddies, greated with some nice 2-4ft out of the SE. Fished 130-200FOW, ended up 13-19 with 1 Steelie, 3 Cohos, and the rest Kings. Dipsies, riggers and core caught the most. The coho's and the lone rainbow were all on spoons everything else was F/F.

Short solo run out of Algoma on Sunday. Couple steelhead on 2 color leadcore off board. Very tarnished hammered brass spoon with pink insert was the ticket. 300-450 FOW straight out.
