I put a filet of a 10# lake trout, and a filet from a 91/2# king on the gas grill last night(butter, seasoned salt, seasoned pepper) even people who don't care much for fish raved about both..

Thanx for the heads-up on the flag..I've been sailing, boating and fishing as well as being a charter captain (in the 60's) on the great lakes for 58 years and would not recognize that flag. I also did not notice that it is a requirement to carry it on my boat (26 feet)..I have had that vollentary coast guard inspection in Algoma with no mention of a distress flag ..I have helped others many times, and have been helped on occasion...I have seen boats that look like they may need some kind of assistance, and often several boats offer help...I cannot imagine any boater, after suspecting someone needs help, not helping or offering---they could be next..Thanx again for the flag info..I'm going to be in Algoma tomorrow, so I'll check at the hardware to buy one Don't be too hard on us--A lot of those passer's by may have been as ignorant as me...
