going to lake michigan with the wife for the holiday weekeng .wanting to get some salmon ..how far out are they and what is the best set up..dodger flasher or spoon thanx ...brandyn

went out sat. some fish in 62-70 then i pulled and went to 92 found more spoons in 45ft and bodybaits on boards

Go to 130 ft. and troll north. Hope you have a large boat and calm water. Riggers down 100 plus and dipsy's 125 back.

thanx for the info i do have a 25 ft trophy hope for calm water.... and what about coler of spoon for deep lakers..thanx brandyn

The lakers were suspended last weekend around the 45 foot mark in 90 feet of water. Got a couple on monkey puke spoons. Not really any salmon activity....that info would help if you can provide it after your trip. Good Luck!

Any color spoon will work for lakers if you get over them. Also try a dodger with a peanut down deep. We hit lakers last trip 100 down on spin doctor/fly and dodger/fly. Kings also.
