Picked up two limits yesterday in perch tournament (Sunday). Did not find fish until late morning so we did not make weigh-in. After hitting many spots around Black Ditch, Condo's, etc....we finally found some active fish way West of Black ditch. In font of the first group of high end houses (big wooden containment wall up the hill) maybe two miles West from Black Ditch ( ?). Can't miss the wooden wall. 15-17 fow out front of that. SOOOO many baitfish. Rods in holders with speaders was VERY slow. Guy next to us was killing them by casting simply a minnow 1-1.5' feet behind a weight. Slowly pulling it back to the boat. Once we did that, action picked up. The guy said with all the bait fish....you had to be moving, and HAD to be on the bottom. Action got fast at times. We were casting Perch Killers behind a small weight and slowly dragging back to the boat. Worked awesome in a tough bite and i learned a new trick for a tough perch bite. We finished around 3 P.M with two tickets of medium size fish. Did not weigh-in at perch tourney.....but i did feel like pulling two nice tickets in what appeared to be a tough bite was a minor victory. To the gentleman from M/C in the green Lund.... thanks very much for the tip/help from the guy in the White Lund!!!

Black Ditch is down by Michigan City. Maybe a mile West of Trial Creek? Put in at Trail Creek, head a short distance West, and you will see a vee depression on the shore within all the tall dunes. There will surely be a pack of boats there tomorrow so you can't miss it.
Good Luck !!!!

Went out of Portage on Thursday out of the mouth and was marking them in 21 fow showing between the surface and 16 fow. Ended up with 4 throw backs. No action was to be found with any keepers around this area.
