Got a late start on Saturday. Ran out to 155 north of the state line and worked back and forth between 145 and 175. We went 8 for 12 in about 3 hours without much of a pattern.
Purple spoon down 88 on the rigger took a few, 00 dodger and peanut took 3, The Hey baby SWR took a decent king down 75.
Sunday it was a little bumpy we ran south of the line and dropped in at 145 just south of the nuke plant. We worked all the way back into 65.
The fish were very spotty but we did manage 6 for 8. Same purple spoon down 88, full core with a Kevorkian took a steelie.
The boards were really dead.
The fished seemed to be pretty negative because we were marking them right in the spread and just not getting bit. The Hey Baby did not get hit and eventually we took the SWR out of the game and replaced it with a clean plastic dodger and slider fly that did take 1.
All and all not too bad but we were not setting the world on fire. Water temps were around 47 with a ripping current from the North West. Best speeds seemed to be 2.8 to 3.1.
Maybe a nice period of stable weather would do wonders to concentrate the fish. They seem widely scattered with no real temperature breaks to speak of. Deep did seem better than on the hill for us.
See ya out there
