On a fishing trip with the Clam this morning, I asked him what spoon was on a specific downrigger and his reply was: " I don't know what I put on that rod". Can you actually believe that. Thanks Clam for a great morning.

You are pure evil........ ;D Rick, it was one trip I wont soon forget this morning........just watching you reeling in your favorite fish, captaining the boat, looking at your old boat in passing with such reverence and love among so many other things are always going to be fond memories of this special weekend among good friends one and all..... Just hearing you speak some innermost thoughts out loud like "God I am going to miss this place" made me realize all the more how much a part of the Port Washington fishing band of brothers you really are......you will always have an open seat on my boat anytime! It's no secret that the feeling is very very mutual........we are going to miss you more than you could ever imagine......Thank you so much for coming along on the trip this morning with me, Krash and my nephew Cody.......most importantly, thank for so being such an incredible friend to me and everyone on this site!  Now that I got all that sappy stuff out of my system, I just want to say that you purposely let that monster king salmon go just to say you didnt catch a fish on a Silver Streak Pink Alewife spoon.....you crappity smacker!!!!  P.P.S.......It was on a four color, not a downrigger rod that I forgot the lure (lmao)...... |

Great photo & what a beautifly fish.
Rick, it really was a shocking revelation.
Brent, I think that must of been the only time Rick was close to a fish all day.......the rest of the time he was having a blast driving the Clam and holding court on Channel 7.

I was thinking more along the line of devouring natural resources LMAO Reid.......I would call that hitting below the belt....if I could ever see mine again! Awespray..... We made sure Relay's rainbow was on a 10 color to give him a little workout from sitting behind the wheel so long! ;D |
