i'm gonna try trolling for couple hours in the morning by the mouth out of portage unless i see other boaters catching perch. last time i was out i cought a double of perch about 3-5 long last friday. nobody was really catching perch. did noticed couple trollers catching steelies. so i'm crossing my fingers. will try at 15-30 fow w/ couple cranks and and spoons . i was told orange orange orange . i have been successful w/ same, so have to try.

Try red, red, red also. One day it was red for me. Then the next time it was orange. Put them both out until you see what they like for the day. It seemed as if on more cludy days, the red was better. On sunny days, the orange crush took over. More sparkle and pizzaz with the sun on the orange crush I guess. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Well once again no luck. Tried perching also no good. On the way in under the tracks my buddy fought a small bass and I hooked into 7 lbs cat. My 4 year old girl was going to help bring it in until she seen was on ther end of the line.
