I learned 2 important things today....#1, I miss Port Washington. #2 Don't ever trust the weatherman! On a lake that was supposed to be 1' or less all night and morning, then switching to the NE and 10-15 and be 1-2's, powering out in 9 miles in that rough crap was NO FUN. Powered outta the harbor after light broke (there were logs, sticks, and all sorts of debris out in 130-150') and after burning 6 gallons of gas, set up in 155' on a SSE troll. Popped a 4lb Bow almost instantly on a inside board 00 dodger. SWR down 99 fired twice with a Black and Gold Pro king (1 Coho, 1 King just shy of 18lbs). 8" green glow Pro Troll with a Howie Green Crinkle fired on a Dipsey back 125loc twice for 2 more Coho. Baby Spinny back 30, down 30 fired once for a Coho, and 2 other Cohos coming on 00 dodgers. Ended the day 8-9 (1 Bow, 1 King, 6 Coho's) Fished 155-195' with 165 being the best My buddy Rick with his King, picture doesn't do it justice, it was 17lb12oz and 33 3/4" Doesn't look too rough!

Fished Kenosha as well 5/16/2010. Went 7 for 10, all Cohos, in 175 FOW but overall still slow. Could not get a hit on any spoons and covered the water column from 15 to 120 down with 9 lines but no apparent great lure or setup except had to be a flasher fly. Last Coho was about 8" and I'm quite sure we dragged it awhile before returning it to the lake. The other 6 were 2 - 4 pounds and tasty for dinner last night.

Nice going Garrett ----- sorry we couldnt talk too much during our trips in different ports but it was a long and busy weekend and the cell stayed in my pocket most of the Sunday trip....
Glad you handled the rough water OK and that you put your crew on some decent fish! Nice king!

Good work Garrett, but taking a beating from the waves only makes you tougher and like the fish were well earned. lol wind is good for no sport I can think of. Congrats

Yeah PP NO SHEET! When I went outta Kenosha for the first time 2 Thursday's ago I thought my sonar was broke! I was in 50' of water for 10+ minuets running 35mph! I actually stopped and fired up the second sonar! Once you get to "the hill" it goes pretty quick but DAM! Then I went with Clam, Jason, Pete the following Sunday and told them, "watch how long it takes to get to 100' of water!!!" What and where do you guys fish when you have a huge East blow in July/August? 200-300' half way down, or on the "hill" near the bottom? That has to SUCK Salty's balls!!! LOL
