Try out by the gong and just west and north of it. Monkey puke spoons and blue dolphines have been doing the best for us a couple weeks ago at all depths. Not much luck with dodgers and flies this year for some reason. Things change overnight though.

We caught Coho, Lakers and Kings in 50 - 55 fow, 24 to 50 feet down, using body baits, dodger/flies and spoons last Saturday.

Ok where or what is the gong? I was just in Ohio and found out what monkey puke is. But been fishing here for a while and have not seen a gong.

The gong is north of gary light at N41 43.245 W87 21.O43 A buddy was out today east and north of that today, more north of portage, lot of hits but not alot of fish in the boat, 8&10 color lead took most of the hit on boards blue dolfin was the spoon that got the fish they boated. blue and green spoons and flys was good last weekend in55 to64 foot of water. 8 color was the hot ticket then. good luck Rod
