Started fishing at 6:30am ended at noon. Boated 2 steelhead and 3 kings. Fish were all caught on Bloody nose spoons. Magnum was the hot bait. Off of downrigger and Dipsie. Speed was 2.5 on GPS for best results. Good Luck!!!
Heard on the radio the perch bite was steady using minnows in front of the ditch.
Hopefully fish stay will go again on Sunday.

Generally when someone mentions "the ditch" they are referring to Burns Ditch and you would usually launch out of the Portage Marina. The Black Ditch is way east close to Michigan City. Friend told me today his Uncle nailed the perch a few days ago right out from the Ditch, Burns Ditch, in 15 feet of water and all were 10.5 inch and over. Three person limit. Good fishin.
