i'm no perch expert. I have been fishing for them for 5 years or so when I can and have a lot of fun and luck thanks to this site . I have noticed not as many posts have been made this year for perch. I don't get to go very often and don't make many posts but have when I had good luck. Yesterday went out of burns ditch limited out off the beach just left of the mouth in 18 FOW. today went to pastric after work with no luck any where. I see alot of people viewing posts and not alot leaving them. I'm not from IL(I know you guy's are looking for perch here now)but like to see where people are catching them. I'm going to try to make more posts, and maybe some of you other post readers will to. I was using minnows on crappie rigs yesterday

Good Post Thunderbolt....... You just have to find them as you did. I was out a week ago and there were none where you were, none at the donut but found them almost to the dunes park in 20-22 FOW. The perch are always there, ya just gotta find em.......

sorry I couldn't reply sooner. We were catching alot of 8-10 inchers only kept a couple of 8-9's, kept mainly 10-11's with only a couple of 13's beeing the biggest. did throw back alot of dinks. They seemed to come in spurts. When they hit we couldn't get our lines back in the water fast enough all pulling up doubles. then wait 15 min. and they would come again
