Took a Friday evening trip to Kewaunee on Friday afternoon. Set lines in 110 and trolled out to 275 then back into 80 before we called it a night. Ended up 3-4 all kings. We took two hits on meat down 100 on the deep rigger. One hit on wire dipsey out 70, and one hit on braid dipsey out 110. Green was good on chrome FF, the one we lost on the rigger came up to the top went around the braid dipsey then took400 ft of line out, held down for a bit then came off. It was a fun evening fish boated were 23,16, and 13 lbs. Had to wear knee boots to land the boat and only got one foot wet (hole by the landing)!

Nice to hear of a report from Kewaunee. It sounds like knee boots will be the wear the rest of the summer.

There were some boats launched today. There is only 1 dock to use, barrels in front of the others. I had heard that someone wrecked the bottom of their truck backing into a hole. That is the gossip though. I hate the thought of TR or Manitowoc though and Algoma is quite a trip.

Salmon Harbor is now open to the public. Daily launch is $10 and a seasonal pass is $75. For the daily fee they are trying the honest approach. All they ask is that you come in to pay after you return from fishing since most of the boats leave before their ship store is open. Hopefully we have honest fishermen and no one screws it up for the rest.

Did they mention anything about parking? Very limited parking at Salmon Harbor No she didn't say anything about parking (I forgot to ask). I think they are just trying to accomodate fishermen and really don't have a plan in place yet.

Attention all boat launch customers not renting slips or campsites from Salmon Harbor Marina. Please park along Hathaway drive. If you need to clean fish please use the city cleaning station by public ramp. Daily launch fee is $10.00. Yearly Launch Pass is $75.00. Salmon Harbor also has daily, weekly and monthly slips available.
Use of launch is at your own risk!!!!
Thank you.
