With reports starting to get better closer to home I decided to try a run at two rivers Friday am b4 the rain hit. Started off pretty quick in 125 FOW with lines in about 430 an fish on by 5 but died equally as fast. 4 for 6 by 6am with Ho, a laker an 2 kings. One of which weighed out at 26# We worked the waypoints over again then started venturing out. But the rain which was predicted for noon was rushing in on us at 830 an with a 9 year old aboard we got outta there an stayed dry. Monday was predicted to be light an variable winds with clouds giving way to clear skys throughout the day. With June moons being a very unpredictable animal I decided to give it a all day soak. The guys showed up early so we ended up having lines set by 4 in the same water as the previous trip. I attacked it entirely with flasher flys even digging out my pump rods. By 5 am we had a triple going, but that action was short lived. We continued to work the same water till noon when we ventured into the 160 range. We pulled lines at 430 PM going 11 for 14. It was a slow pick throughout the day with a slight jump in action around the 1:15pm major. But the fish were of excellent quality high teeners up to a 22#. Best set ups were a #3 setting dipsey 100 FOL blue blade aqua 5000 combo 100' 60# CU with a Half chin illusionist combo 200' 45# CU an #3 braid dipsey 100 FOL dragon slayer double aqua combo. On an interesting note I lost my only rigger bite when my loop knot failed on the fly lead. A first for me. I also forgot the meat in my truck. I dont recommend that...

Are you running skis or inline planars on your coppers and f/f?
