6/7 set lines at 330 am a bump north in 90. Started picking around 530 with a 27+ lb king on a blue Jean's pro king 150 CU. Working a set of way points from 110 to 130 we managed a nice mixed box then around mid morning we slid out. Next we found a pod in 175 ish. We stayed on that pod until we boxed with 18 for 24 including 3 throwbacks.
6/8 was the same program ended 8 for 12 with a 23lber as the highlight.
Stud rods:
1.5 setting wire diver 70 FOL mixed veggies meat rig
1.5 wire diver 70 FOL chrome dragon slayer aqua fly
200 CU chrome dragon slayer aqua fly.
Almost every rod did fire with lots of bows spread from the surface to down 50 feet.
