Report Wind was North East Breeze. Started trolling early. We counted 16 boats...the fish that were in close the past few days moved! We ended up with one coho on orange dodger and green fly set on 2.5 100 foot back on dipsie after 6 hours. We should have stayed east but we decided to go out deeper west in 80 foot. Saw one other fish caught early. Did not see any boats go out of Portage. If you are traveling.... You might want to think about Patrick and go out about 8-10 miles and catch silver fish or go out 12 miles at MC and play hit or miss and catch lake trout. Perch Report....one boat said they caught 40 perch BUT were 7-8 inches they released them caught a few that were 10 inches. www.coastwatch.msu.edu/michigan/m5.htmlThe above website will show you the temperature breaks on the surface. Go to the places where the lines are close together.
