Hey guys, what's going on at the pier in Michigan City? Are the skamania in catchable reach yet or should I stay in Indy? Thanks

I personally wouldn't bother driving all the way up from Indy for fishing the pier right now. Sounded pretty slow from reports on Chi-Town Angler and from talking to a couple guys out on the pier last week. From what I've heard, action is better in the stream right now. Of course, all it takes is one great day, so you never know. Can't catch em if you aren't fishing!

Saw one guy on pier at 2pm. Stringer in the water. It's not hot. We were in a boat...no steelies for us. Coho and lakers. You could call Jerry at his bait shop.
