I am starting to get the jitters here, I'm needing some steelhead action soon, contemplating going up to the Manistee River or Betsie River just to get a hit. When are the steelies expected to come into Michigan City? Veterans can u help a young buck out?

Usually, now thru the end of April are the best times. I haven't targeted them for years. The past couple years have everything all messed up. Good luck.

water is warming up in Trail Creek, rain pushed some fish in. Still not a big run, but there's fresh chrome to be had if you put in the time
