Was out at burns ditch today...light ice in the portage marina at the ramp.ditch was wide open to the mouth of the lake.But the lake front still iced in pretty good about a good 1/4 mile or so.One guy fishing by the discharges in a small boat..

I flew into Midway last weekend and it looked pretty iced in by about 1/4 mile, don't know if it moved or not. I'm curious also. Needs to get the bugs out of the boat!

Took a stroll to the mouth or Burns Ditch. Ice floating but you could troll around them. Saw a couple of boats out...maybe another week or so. Not sure about EC...

Went out Saturday morning went 5 for 8 on lakers all about 12-16lbs. Got one coho as well. Will be out Friday morning this time I'm bringing my trolling gear for coho's and the NET! Boy was it a pain trying to land those fish with no net!

first steelies since i moved from the root river in 1988....been a while... ;D fished @ Shoto, but the water is dropping and is frakin cold, i'll avoid it this weekend Attachments:
