i am a firefighter from indpls and im thinking of coming up to lake michigan to try for some browns and cohos anyone have any solid reports or tips for a guy fishing from shore

try to get some spawn and shrimp and crawlers... on the bottom use spawn and another rod u can use a crawler and try drifting shrimp and a crawler on a bobber about 5-10 ft down should produce some fish usually catch all my browns on a crawler on bottom

That discharge is not open anymore they expanded their plant.Com Ed is shutdown.

well i was just up there friday and fished thru the night it is very much open but the waves and weather made for tough fishing conditions and we struck out had one on and he came unbuttoned about 30m out snagged some big carp and some shad on accident they were a pain in the butt they are everywhere thinking of going back up next week if anyone has any reports thanks mike
