Plankton, you are on the right path. Start slow with different setups and add as you go when you get comfortable enough with each different setup.
At some point I may try to get set up with copper/wire line and/or meat rigs. Money is what allows each of us on to the next level because as any fisherman knows we need all new equipment for each different set up.
