Hello All
I am brand new to Lake Michigan fishing. I fished it once in late June 2012 and now I am excited about my second trip.
We trolled and trolled and managed to get 6 easy coho's and missed the net on a large King. None the less it was a great fishing day.
The water is beautiful and the Security folks at Winthrop which issued our daily license were great. Folks at the dock took time to talk to us about how to fish.
I have now purchased electric down riggers for 17 foot sea worthy The Duck Boat and will be back next weekend. I just hope I am as nice to people as the folks were during my first visit.
If you happen to see a camouflaged boat that looks more like a floating torpedo then boat come on over and introduce yourselves.
