Fish pretty much at Algoma. Always say I am going to try the Bank and was wondering how long of a run it would be. Have fished in fall in the channel at S.B. and know it is a slow process to get to the lake from the landing there. Loadind up and driving there is no big deal, but thought it would be different to go by boat.

About 35-45 min. to the north end of the bank, roughly depending on waves.

14 miles from algoma harbor to the south end of the bank

Time to make the trip really depends upon the wave conditions. Can make it up fast if its smooth and a long time back if it is rough. Right Gilligan... Slapper

Launching at Sawyer Park in Sturgeon bay - through the canal and all of that to mid reef you can pretty much figure 40-45 minutes...as others have stated it's about 14 miles to the south end of the bank out of algoma - very doable trip...time will just depend on the size of boat and wave conditions for sure but not very long of a trip at all on a nice day...

there's a small County owned boat landing at Lilly Bay , but it is not protected, good ramp, but any east wind and you might be heading into sawyer park and hitch hiking back to your truck I can't remeber if it's off Co Rd TT or T.....a west wind and its all good
theres also one at whitefish bay further north just off the banks, but the low water has it closed, once in a while the county dredges it, this one has a break wall....
