I'm new to big lake fishing, from downstate. Is ther any use in trying to fish from the bank in Indiana, if so, what would I be looking for?

You should be able to get into some nice smallmouth bass too. Focus on rocky areas like piers.

For the purpose of Bank fishing, it can be done by casting fishing bait or lures into the water for the purpose of catching fish. Bank fishing need the equipment like rod and reel but nets, traps, and spears, and fishing lines used without rods can also be used.
