Myself and 4 of my buddies are headed to Portage Sunday the 13th for our first charter on Lake Michigan 12:00 to 6:00 with Cpt. Rich, sounds like he is one of the best. Just wondering if we could get into any salmon this time of year or just Steelhead and Lake Trout. And hows the catching has been latley? Really looking forward to a fun day any infro very much appreciated.

I believe his party caught 16 last Saturday. I don't think he is catching very many salmon now. Unfortunatly we were scheduled for last Sunday and the weather kept us from going out.  |

capt rich will get you a great mixed bag of fish lakers salmon skamaina strain seelhead and chinnooks.good luck,hes the real deal

Someone told me they came out of the Gary harbor and U.S. Steel started manufacturing them. They took a salmon and fed it iron ore and it became a steelhead!! lol  |

Always "good fishing'" "good CATCHING to all" 9 fish 5 guys 7 lakers, one was 14# big fish for an Ohio boy, and 2 coho had to go to Mich deep waters to get them. Deffinatly will be back to Portage !!!!!!!
