got out last weekend (05/01)with Shawn (gangreen,….story behind the name and boat color makes sense......) and we managed to battle a small craft advisory...wait a minute!!!, that’s me ...small craft !! WTF
it was a little breezy… we ended up with three fish, one a fluke, two others … wish the wind wasn’t so strong…in hind sight I’da turned back and powered through to the beginning point of the first way point, trolle d back through…but… live and learn…
Three fish 19, 21 and 21 inches all on crawler harnesses
A little late with the report, but the snow changed everything any way, water temps dropped nearly 10 degrees in a week,
once the water temps rebuild, the fishing will get better, but it is suppose to be cold again for the next couple days…soon it will break… I hope….
