Hit the water around 6:15 this am, was in the last parking spot before the gravel lot! Tons of boats out at the mouth, no steelies for us, only saw a few caught, way too many boats working the mouth for me!
Went off shore to 70' before third rod was set had a double on the riggers 25 & 30' down boxed one coho, lost the other. Nothing else for about an hour, caught one more before leaving. Dissapointing day of catching but, a great day of fishing.

The past few years the Steelies were spread out from the Port all the way to Gary Light. Sure the mouth of the Ditch is a good spot but if its crowded fighting a fish can become a disaster! Lots of boats there yesterday. Hit the beach, move around. Mark the fish and circle the way point. Attachments:

Is it a geographical structure on the bottom of the lake? Or is it a tributary?
