We drove up from Lafayette last night and stayed in Portage. I was hoping to go out on the lake for the first time ever but our captain was planning on going out 14 miles and said it was going to be to rough to go today. Unfortunatly he is pretty booked the rest of the summer. We had a couple of disappointed kids and adults too.

Hats off to the captain for keeping the safety of his customers in mind. It would have been a waste of money out there today.

probably rainmaker...he is a good guy, great charter boat captain and catches more fish out of the ditch area than anyone else i think..steve

I would agree with the previous comment! Capt. Rich is most impressive fisherman that I have ever seen on the big lake and would recoment his charter to anyone coming from out of town.
