off shore fishing out of Chicago

Has anyone had any luck fishing out of one of the Chicago harbors this week? If so, how far out and in what depth should I try?

Caught one decent lake trout and lost a big one last weekend out of diversey

we were in 50 fow but the fish were shallower

was our first time out ever and we weren't exactly precise

have been out twice since - had one hit tonight as we were pulling the line back up to the boat - seems like the fish are all up high at like 12 ft over 30 or 40 ft of water

any additional info / tips would be much appreciated
