So here is my South Dakota report: I opened on the Missouri River April 28-May 1st. Fishing lakes Sharp and Francis Case staying in Chamberlain. Caught a lot of nice eaters (walleye) mostly on jig/minnow really lit them up on Saturday catching about 40 fish about half walleye and 1/2 smallmouth.

Congratulations on the Missouri Rive walleyes, Sutty.
I've never fished there but hear that it is a great fishery.

It was my first trip and I had fun. Will definitely go back. The drive is easy all interstate.

I had very good fishing in Chamberlain SD in Early April. This hot bit will soon be over when the fish spawn and disburse.

I really had a blast trolling the rocks along the interstate bridge in the dark with a walleye diver short lined, hand held 7' ultra light, what a hoot.
