I am heading out there Sat or Sun and sure would like to know the status also. Ive been out 4 times out of Burnham Harbor this year and havent done too good. I dont know what happened over the last 5 years but we used to nail them out of Burnham for years. We sold the boat 5 years ago but picked up another boat this year and are back at it. I figure we will try Waukegan this time and hopefully do better. Ill let you know how we do. Jim

Whoa, nice day of fishing there. I went with my old standby Burnham Harbor yesterday and got skunked. I knew of the threat of storms that day and only went out about 6 miles to 65 feet of water and I am glad we didnt go further. We got hit with the storm about 11 am and my Lund got thrown around like a ragdoll. Its only a 1775 but it withstood the waves great. I should have drove the extra miles and went to Waukegan. Definately Waukegan next weekend. Ive been there once a long time ago. Can you give me some info as far as what you used and what depth? Thanks Jim

Just finished a project boat (1976 starcraft 16" V) and am interesed in trying waukegan or Northpoint to salmon fish. Any preferences? I was thinking Saturday evening about 6pm. Any tackle recommendations or depths? Redmond
