Email from Red Rider yesterday and over the phone today said that Hit n Run did well on cohos out of Kenosha - I think he went 13 for 16. Red Rider also said there are reports out of Kewaunee and Sheboygan taking 3 & 4 year old kings out of 300 fow down 125' to 200'. It's enough to make a guy anxious! I started up the Awespray today on the driveway using the rabbit ears attached to the hose. The 150hp Yamaha 4 stroke started right up....simple pleasures! Awespray Keep a tight line!

If you're on the water before 4am today Reid, I'd say you had a crew fit to be on the "Deadliest Catch." I hope you kept the lines clear of ice! It's brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cold in Milwaukee!

Light winds on a cold day and the lake is looking kind. Better than chipping ice off the gear in a snow storm with 3 footers. Hope they are putting a hurt on the ho's.

The post say 7:36am but it's actually 8:36 am. I just gave Reid a Fish call and they just hit their first one. They have been out since 6:00am. As we were talking he said got to go. They just had 2nd on. Just talked to Clam and they just landed a nice 9lb Bow. They have 10 fis already. Clam is in Kenosha working 150 to 190 fow. Reid is in Racine now working 90 fow.

Thursday we saw lots of bait, and deep hooks on the sonar! Today we saw next to NOTHING on the sonar. The Coho's are packed full of bigger sized Alwifes. It's gonna be a good year IMHO!

We had pod after pod of bait surrounded by hooks near or on the bottom. The few we caught were stuffed with 10 to 12 alewives apiece.
I'm thinking thats why we had a little tuffer time getting hits.
