pier salmon fishing MC quesions

Went to the pier in Washington park yesterday. Three of us were throwing crankbaits and spoons for a few hours. No bite. Pretty disappointed since we drove 100 miles to MC.

When are the salmons coming to the pier?

BTW, is there any parking near the pier other than Washington park?

We are all watching the weather and water temps for salmon. DNR will report when fishing on pier is great. Good luck. Next time try Trail creek access....some steelhead are there.
