Fish have been caught again as of today, going out tomorrow am for a couple of hours. Try off the beach early and then try out in 40 to 50 fow. #3 J-plugs on 100ft of copper has been very productive for us.

Sunday midafternoon. 10 lb steelhead. 62 ft of water north of the Bailytown stacks. About 35 ft down. Gold striped black and silver northern spoon. No spectacular jumps, but took 20 minutes to land on light tackle. One other hit in the same area, but it was off before I could get the rod out of the rod holder. Same lure.

Went out of the Ditch again this morning, went 9 for 15. Bite was done around 8:30. Had 3 kings and 6 coho. Weather could change the fishing depending on wind and how much rain we get the next couple of days. Fished the same area and same baits as we have been the last few trips out.

Any more reports on the Ditch or Pastrick marina. I want to go out saturday but the winds are from the west and I think tha is bad for small boats and fishing. Any help would be apprecitaed. last Sunday we tried down riggers with various lures, j-plug flasher with green fly ( 1 King- 5lb), Spoons, etc. in about 40-50 feet of water all around the ditch mouth. Not much happening for us out there still learning. Hi John, Dyer indiana.

We did catch a few kings and steelhead in the bay out of Pasterick a couple of weeks ago but have been hitting the Ditch since then. With the weather for the next few days the bay in front of Pasterick will be about the only safe place to fish. There should be more fish in there by now as they tend to show up around this time of year.
