Latest is slooowwww. Been here since Friday pm. Boated 2/3 Saturday morning. Sunday went 0 for 3. One release Monday. Nothing today. Charters getting 3-6 fish. Some zeroes. Water is 73+, even over 160 ft. Had a nice boat ride from 60 to 160 ft of water, six miles north to five miles south. Everyone is complaining about warm water. They have to eat sometime. .

We did graph some fish& bait right on the bottom but only the 2 bites. Good luck as I'm guessing you'll need it.

Thanx for the reports...sounds like there's a few caught out of Kewaunee..maybe something is happening...JP Kewaunee is just as slow. Sunday morning went 1/2. Marking fish but they are very very picky. Morning hours from like 5-630 have been the times I've been told are best. And even then they are slow. Glad my boat is getting some work done because I know I ain't missing much.

Took the grandsons out on Saturday. Sam got a 8 pound salmon and Ryan got a 5 pounder, just S of Algoma in 80 FOW. Pearl Yeck on a 10 color, and chrome/green E-chip/aqua fly on 150' dipsy. Went solo on Sunday, not a touch. Marked fish but they had lockjaw and cataracts. 73 degree surface water, and no thermocline, got gradually cooler as I dropped the ball near the bottom.

Good job on getting the grandsons out. I also had my 7 year old grandson out on Sunday & although we only caught 2, he thought it was a great trip as it was his first salmon & he got to drive "the big boat." All in your perspective I guess. Best comment on the morning was "geez Grandpa these sure do fight harder than sunfish" He also informed me we would of caught more fish with bobbers & worms.
Just what we need-another meat fisherman like SteveO.LOL

There are a lot of people that fish meat that care to admit it. Depending on the time of day, good/bad bite, tourney, or even the crew on board we will run meat. Just not to many run it with BEER like SteveO
