Hey guys, just getting the boat out for the first time on Saturday. Does anyone have a good depth to start at. I will be on channel 11 tomorrow morning if anyone wants to trade notes!
Thanks, Yotehunter

I'm taking my first trip of the year this afternoon. I'll post tonight when I get home. Hopefully I'll find a few.

Saw a charter at the fish cleaning station tue. he had 29...half bows and half salmon including several over 15#...I wish I knew where he got em....At least we know the salmon should be targeted...I hope to be searching for them by mid week JP

We got 2 rainbows, one salmon, and a shaker. There were quite a few groups at the cleaning station that did better than us though. We started in 100' and worked out to 210' before turning around and finding some fish in about 125'. I think the bite was better yet inside of us, should have stayed shallow I guess. No real color pattern for us but all were caught on spoons. Good luck!!

Set up in about 90 this morning fishing solo, well with mutt lie along. Got a salmon right away down 31 SWR with pearl yeck. Then nothing for a long time. Trolled around for a while in the 100 to 150 range with no more action. Because the lake was so nice started heading east. At 195, 5 color with orange spoon went and landed a bow. Pulled the dipsy and put out a 2 color which went right away in 215 with a orange white reg pro king, another bow. Pulled the downrigger and put out another 5 color with orange black spoon. At 250 first 5 color went again with another bow. Turned back west thinking I could pick up the 5th one before I hit 200. No such luck so turned and headed east again. hit 250 with no action, so turned west again. Changed second 5 color to the same spoon I had on other 5 color. At about 225 that pole took 5th fish. Once I was pass 200 marked very few fish. If they were there they were up high and that's why I had action higher I figured. Lake was great, but the bugs were enjoying it to.

Went 6-8 this am. Set up in 120 and fished out to 200. First bite was a rainbow on a 5 color on an orange 00 dodger and peanut fly. Second bite was a miss on a 10 color with a chrome flasher and aqua fly. Wire dipsy out 90 went next, white and mirage, 10lb King. Then we got into some traffic and had to turn. Got back into 130 and got a big rainbow on a 3 color on an rv series spoon. Next was a nice big king on a down rigger. Green and aqua frog. Next rainbow on 2 color with copper and orange spoon. Miss on other wire dipsy, then another King on the 10 color again. Overall it was a great first trip of the year!
