Fish biologists want our help with bait ball locations

Lake Michigan anglers can now share fish finder images with USGS scientists. Dr. David Warner (dmwarner@usgs.gov) is accepting e-mailed images of bait balls along with the following info:
Date
Time
Location
Depth
Latitude/Longitude
Are anglers seeing bait where biologists are not?
Maybe we can give them a better idea of what's happening in the lake than just a couple of sample trawls.
