what to do when the pictures don't match the actual??
anyone got some experience installing them?
i have a '91 4 stroke Yamaha, got the right product but nothing matches like they do on the illustrations in the instructions.
does the servo pull or push or both?? i'm afraid of bending anything to make it work ...then nulling the warranty
gonna contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say.
i spent 2 hours running in place trying to figure this "simple install" ... and well...... i gave up in frustration

Did it come with the cd to watch the video? I found that to be more helpful.

no i have not figured it out yet...put it down last night and haven't had a chance to muddle over it again, tonight doesn't look good either,
i looked at google images all thems are the photos from the instructions sent with the units.... they didn't inspire me with a solution ..u tube is a bust as well.
i may have an idea...it came to me at freakin 330AM, i'll keep you abreast as i frustrate myself with this, gotta work on the motor home some tonight

With the servo in your hand and all the electrical connections made have some one turn the dial while you watch the servo move this will tell you whether you need to mount the moter in the push or pull position

contacted Marine tech...makers of trollmaster, apparently their techs havent come up with a design for my particular motor...then why advertise it as such..the box indicates 1990 -1999 4 stroke 9.9 Yamaha...gonna hafta get creative and find a different place to mount the servo up in the front of the cowling and then make my own linkage...not what i wanted to do.... grrrr!!!!

Servo turns clockwise for more speed. My kit is not for my motor so I don't know how it should be, but I set it up to push.
