Fished this morning from 4:00am to 9:15am, went 3 for 6. The three we got in were rainbows. Fished 90fow to 170fow, straight east of town. Not sure where the salmon are, speed was 2.5gps to 3.1gps and we fish all spoons, haven't figured out flasher fly, but we carry a few. Best colors seemed to be blue flounder pounder and other hits on bloody nose.
Later, Jason.
Hope to report this week. Took vacation, will see if weather cooperates.

Most boats had a pretty good weekend at Algoma. Private boats had mix of salmon, steelhead and a few lake trout. Charters continued to do very well. Sunday afternoon was a washout as the thunderstorms passed through. Water temps have warmed, low 60's on surface, high 40s to low 50s on the probe. We caught salmon and steelhead in 100 FOW north of town. Some weed clumps are starting to float out of Sturgeon Bay, which can cause real problems. Check your lures often for weeds. Calm weather predicted for the next week, Shanty Day's Tournament starts Thursday, runs until Sunday at 10am. Entry tickets available at Capt. K's, Algoma BP, Algoma Hardware, and Algoma Marina. Goood Luck everybody!
