I'm going to try a little mid day today to see if I can find anything. Plans are to see if water is still so cold in close and fish in the higher water column. If nothing going on will head way out. Anyone got and tips as this year has been horrible for me. I would think some magnum spoons might be the choice.

What did you have for water temps up and/or down? Algoma or Kewaunee?

Kewaunee Noon
Managed 1 coho this afternoon in 430FOW on a rigger flasher/fly down 75. Had a drive by on 10 color frog spoon and that's it. Checked temp in 100 ft. 50 down was still 60 so I headed out to 500 to find some bows. Trolled all the way back to 125 feet without a bump. Pulled lines at 6:30. Boats seem scattered in all depths.

They weren't shallow. I got my first skunk in a very long time tonight. We marked lots of bait and fish in 80-120' but only hooked up with one salmon on a wire dipsy that came unbuttoned 50 feet behind the boat.

Fished this a.m. Set up in 225 and went out to 375. Not a bump. Only nice thing was the lake was very flat. Few reports on radio were of one fish mostly. Did here one with 5.

Fished this morning in Kewaunee. Only 2 hits and they both were in 250 on 10 color just south of town on a north troll. Lost 1 bow half way to the boat and managed to box the second bow. Nothing going on with downriggers which seemed to be the same as most. Heard of a lot of skunks or only 1 fish. Didn't hear much from the boats way out either. No one cleaning when we got in at 11:30. This sure has been a hard year.

Had the same luck Sat morning, going 1 for 2, dipsey ff in about 170 on for about 2 minutes, and a laker in 215' off a dr 70' down blue ff. fished 4:30 till 9:30, got in and had 1 other boat with 1 rainbow, out of about 5 or 6 driving by the cleaning station, can't remember seeing it this slow for the amount of boats in the parking lot.
