Monday night 4 for 6. First bow ripped the planer board out of my hands setting up in 250 fow. Hit a green/green Frog behind 5 colors down the chute. Another bow 10 minutes later same depth only on a flatline orange spoon behind the board this time. Last bow was on a dipsy out 125 loc in 137 fow pulling a Chartreuse flasher chartreuse Frog. The two misses were after dark on super glow spoons, 5 color and 120 loc dipsy. A 36 lb king broke off about 100 feet behind the boat and another just like it was on for only a few seconds.

Thank you for busting off the 36 pounders. I'll be needing one of those next week for the K/D Tourny. ;-))

I'll be fishing Algoma the 20th thru the 28th. A 36 lber is not a bad 2nd place fish. For you guys that fish Kew. , for whatever reason I generally go north if that makes you relax a little.

Finished off the trip last night going 2 for 4. One 6 lb 'non-resident' king came on a green/green F/F, SWR down 55 in 278 fow and a 4 lb bow in 260 fow on an orange spoon on 5 colors. The two misses were on a green/green F/F 125 loc PP dipsy and pair of stacked blu/silver J-plugs down 60 on a SWR downrigger. After three days of dead calm water the 1-3 ft waves brought back memories of what salmon fishing is supposed to feel like. Developed a hydraulic leak in my auto pilot and decided to cut the afternoon session short and head for home in daylight. Good luck next week in the K/D. Al
