As soon as the surface temps hit 40 degress you can catch Salmon in front of Kewaunee and Algoma. I have fished this early cold water and the fish are the meanist I ever saw them. If you need to know how to do this just call me at 715-551-5772 and I will share my information with any one that wants it.

Browns are still being cooperative for some people (not me) in 15-30 fow. Surface temps were in the low 40's close to shore. We went for a boat ride out to 200' yesterday and trolled back to the harbor. 36 degrees on the surface,a few fish stuck on the bottom in 150', nothing to report, just a nice smooth troll.

chubby i had surface temps at 54 at the lighthouse at 3 pm, and 49 to 51 along the shorelines in shallow. around 7 pm coming back in it was 52 in the cloud at the mouth and 47/48 in the clear water around it. Marked absolutely nothing in the clean water between the river runoff and the can.
